Those survival rates are only accurate if medical treatment is available. If the medical system had reached capacity the survival rate would have plummeted.

The lockdowns were shitty, no doubt. As the pandemic kept grinding on, they were worse and worse. But I don't begrudge public health officials for the early lockdowns.

They saw what happened in Italy and quite rightfully freaked the fuck out. As a civilized society we narrowly avoided catastrophe.

The problem I have with antivaxx antimask antilockdown COVID deniers is that they can't seem to admit how fucking dire the situation was in the early days.

They refused to do literally anything at all to help mitigate the pandemic, and now they are demanding an apology?

How about GET FUCKED!?!?

Except 3/4 of those groups didn't require medical treatment unless you were in a minority of being vulnerable and obese.

Here's a good video that does a decent job outlining for us a case in which the AMA was abusing its power and suppressing alternative medicine.

This is the case of Harry Hoxsey and his topical herbal cancer treatment. Not directly COVID related, but I really wouldn't know where else to share this video that it wouldn't get sent to the great beyond by some establishment mod, and I think people should watch it.



I think it bears relevance to the topic at hand, as we're dealing with corrupt institutions like the AMA with regards to this pandemic, and this case does a good job of showing how these organizations blackball and suppress alternative treatment methods via tactics like slander and bureaucratic red tape (at the behest of their big business and pharma overlords).

I suspect the entire industry has been a scam from the beginning. For example the other day I read a systematic review on black cumin seed oil (oil extracted from the pods of the Nigella Sativa flower), and it's insane, there's nothing that plant can't do. It's well-known in the middle-east because the prophet Mohammad said it was a cure for everything except death. Yet nobody does anything with that knowledge because there's no money in it, even if you made a concentrated extract or isolated the active components you couldn't patent it. And it's not just this plant, it's hundreds of plants exactly like this one that can do amazing things but the average NPC is too conditioned to even bother looking at the data.

It was funny when the WHO in the middle of the 'pandemic' said that Africans needed to stop using herbal remedies to treat Covid. When I heard that I was like oh okay, maybe we should be using herbs then.
