Saki was just on mma hour, he opened up about his departure from ufc. He said they didn't cut him, but he told them he couldn't do mma no more cause he had both knees injured and elbow and the training really took a toll on his body. He also said the distance for mma was very difficult.

He returns to kickboxing this Saturday at Glory as he faces James McSweeney in the Co Main.

but...k-1/high level striking....
Doesn't make a difference in MMA unless its adapted towards MMA striking.

As a K-1 striker, his striking level was simply too inferior to make it in MMA.

One of my all time favorite cases where an example was made of the K-1 myth. Thank you Saki. Best of luck to your future.

I remember his striking was made to look like amateur hour when he was put to bed in the 1st round.

all that hype from the announcers and he was sent to the shadow realm With a first class ticket

Toney got finished by former 2 division champ and hall of Famer, Randy Couture. Saki got finished by Khalil Rountree...just sayin boss lol.
From his Wiki, personal life....

Rountree enjoys dancing and listening to music.

Must have learned the deadly/banned drunken technique from Van Damme in Kickboxer ...
