Going to my first event ever (UFC Vancouver)

Have fun man, don't forget to go down to Hasting Street after to get some post UFC fentanyl

I was living in Vancouver when UFC 115 took place, but back then I had no money so didn't get a chance to watch Chuck's last fight live (the BS third fight against Tito when Chuck was 50 doesn't count)
Imo there have been some cool fights in Vancouver but never a card decent enough for me to shell out money, except for maybe that time Tristan beat Michel Pereira that was fucking amazing.

Hey guys just excited to say I’m gonna sit in the nosebleeds of UFC Vancouver with my buddy; first time I ever seriously even considered buying tickets. I have been watching since 2006 when Forest and Stephan fought and have been a hardcore fan since UFC 98.

Wtf they just changed the main event??

lol still excited and now maybe I can watch RDR beat up Brenden Allen who I never liked.
Same thing happened to me at my first UFC live event, the main event got changed. Was still a blast, you’ll have a great time.

I'm going too, I've been to a few events and they're always a blast. Our crowds are pretty loud so you'll feel the energy. If Mallott can finish Holland the place is gonna go apeshit.

My friend and his wife both got Covid at the UFC event in Paris a little over a week ago. Hopefully they'll pull through. Maybe you will be luckier than them, though. Trying to be positive here.
No, they just didn't wanna hang with you.

Same advise as other thread, but Canadian.

What's the Canadian version of Ric Flair's whooooo?

Chant Canada Canada Canada

And get drunk on some Molson and politely ask about fighting if this ok

I’m going just to watch the screens and see the ants fight from above the cage, it’s a bucket list check more than anything.
Hell yea, looks like a lot of potential for blood on that card. Don't skip the prelims and make sure to get back to your seat for the Drew Dober fight after the scheduled 15 minute beer/bathroom break before it.
Attending a live UFC event is definitely an experience that you can only get by being there. At team sports events, there is always some level of tension due the inherent us vs them principal that grows exponentially with the amount of alcohol consumed. At UFC events everyone is there for the same reason... cheering for people to make each other bleed and beat the other unconscious! Which is followed by the very awkward feeling of still looking at a guy lying motionless in the cage as you start saying prayers that you didn't just cheer someone's death. Enjoy!

Congratz man! I live near Vancouver myself and thought about going. Can't believe they are charging $400 CAD for nosebleed seats for RDR lol. That's the only reason i didn't go cause of the inflated prices. If you have never gone to a live UFC event before you are in for a treat. You should go to a big PPV in Vegas one of these days, it's an incredible experience and your surrounded by hardcore fight fans. Have fun!!
