In Oct I will be stopping in Iceland for 5 days, before traveling to the UK to watch the Seattle Seahawks take on the Oakland Raiders. So what are some must sees while in Iceland? Any tips on where to stay, eat, and see would be appreciated. Only things so far definetly on my list are going to the Blue Lagoon power plant pools, and taking a 4x4 glacier tour. Any tips would be helpful, Thanks

Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon is a must see.

Also Diamond Beach, Lebowski Bar in Reykjavik, Gulfoss waterfall, Pingvellir natl. park, and the Hard Rock Cafe has good WiFi and is great to stretch out while you drink.

A lot of the bars I went to were pretty busy and cramped, so to get away for a bit, I'd hit up the Hard Rock (it was a semi short walk from my hotel) and upload pics, post, check internet, etc. Lots of room.

Blue Lagoon is cool. You'll dig it.

You need reservations, so get them way in advance. I went in the evening (in December) and it was great, but I hear daytime is where it's at. Tons of hot women.

Have fun, dude.

Their women are fucking hot. Start there.

Thanks for the tips. I spend half the year in Alaska, so I usually vacation somewhere warm, so this will definitely be a change of pace. Gonna book that the Blue Lagoon now!

Best attraction you have to see is your way out of there.

Remember, Iceland's full of grass and Greenland's full of ice. One of life's ironies.

Icelandic Phallological Museum

Watch out though, if they find out your a Sherdogger they might go after you for a specimen.

It depends rather a lot how far you want to travel. I mean you could stay in Reykjavik the whole time and besides the city a lot of natural sites like Gulfoss Falls, the original Geyser(well Stokkur next to it) and the Icelandic parliament (actually a hillside with the continental divide fissure on it) are all doable as day trips.

A sure sign that Leaf Erikson reached the US is that you can see evidence of his dads marketing skills in DNA of the advertisement industry types today.
