Hilarious.

The part where he says "this is the priority now" nails it.

That movie is almost a parody unto itself, but LOL.

Didn't even crack a smile.

I'm fine with jokes about the right, I watch 'Real Time with Bill Maher' on a weekly basis. But that trailer was just typical stereotypes of liberals and how they view conservatives, which is fine, but it just wasn't funny.

I have it on good authority that he is.

The only thing gay about this is that the video is not made available in my country.

Would have been funnier if they just mocked the stupidity of some on the right for their anti-gay sentiments without introducing the "God is gay" thing. That was just dumb and didn't add anything to the sketch. It was a weak joke that reeks of trying too hard.

But that's SNL for you. Decent idea, some funny stuff in there, but overall blew the execution.

Agreed. The hipster war on religion is getting kind of old. Live and let live.

That was actually suprisingly good for an SNL sketch.

Though I have to agree that the "god is a boob man" bit kinda fell flat.

The fact that it's popular is why they do it. It's a show for young people. People love making fun of Fundamentalist Christians like Davis, and it's pretty obvious SNL is scrapping the bottom of the idea barrel.

Wonder if they would ever parody some Muslim Fundamentalists? That'd be the day.

Edit: I'd like the record to show that I made this post when this thread was in the WR. I wouldn't poison this jovial forum with my political nonsense.

Some people just don't want to make gay wedding cakes. If I was in the business of making them I'd be thrilled that some bakers are taking themselves out of that marketplace.

But here's the thing, it's not "parody" when the "tolerant" people are actually trying to force others to do this.

What happens when people won't want to sell/rent gay wedding chairs, gay wedding forks and knives, gay wedding sodas, gay apartments where the couple will live, etc etc? That's a nasty precedent.

Also, I don't think inanimate objects can be gay.

I didn't say the cake was gay. I figured most people would be able to infer the implied meaning.
Should you be forced to make a "Make America Great" cake if you don't want to?

And if you really want that particular cake, why can't you just buy a plain one and put the 2 Ken dolls on yourself? Sheesh people really got make a theoretical fight over everything.
