What I don't understand is why the UFC is being so shortsighted on this. If you are a kid who can be a great MMA fighter, but also has other options in sports, why would you choose MMA and the UFC? They make you jump through a million hoops just to earn a decent wage these days. Now unless you are the champ forget a big payday. And even the champs make an insulting 40 grand from Reebok..
