Actually that theory I heard from Dr Dani Sulikowski, she is a professor and a evolutionary psychologist. I don't really know what Tate says I've never made it past his ridiculous persona.
There are harmful gender norms communicated by society, but to call these toxic masculinity or toxic femininity is to over generalise and pathologise normal gendered behaviour.
The toxic masculinity label is a sort of poisoning of the well. Its a tool of control rather than understanding imo.
If you have any real criticism or comment on what I say I'm all for it, I'm not interested in points scoring though. I think you're under the impression that we disagree on broad points, I think that's a misapprehension.
