Toxic masculinity doesn't exist. It's like saying toxic felinity where it's actually just that there are asshole cats who happen to be feline.

When they are at a position of plenty, they top out their ability to improve there own chance of having kids by having them, so then their only method of improving there genes chance going forward is to reduce competition. They do this by making males and females less attractive and less successful.

Toxic masculinity is one of those strategies. The alpha women that put this stuff forward will likely still seek really masculine men, but they want less of them available for the beta women and they want the beta women to have less interest in the better men.

Actually that theory I heard from Dr Dani Sulikowski, she is a professor and a evolutionary psychologist. I don't really know what Tate says I've never made it past his ridiculous persona.

There are harmful gender norms communicated by society, but to call these toxic masculinity or toxic femininity is to over generalise and pathologise normal gendered behaviour.

The toxic masculinity label is a sort of poisoning of the well. Its a tool of control rather than understanding imo.

If you have any real criticism or comment on what I say I'm all for it, I'm not interested in points scoring though. I think you're under the impression that we disagree on broad points, I think that's a misapprehension.
