One thing a lot of recent mass shooters have had in common is that they are all over the board in belief/values. A complete mess of ideological nonsense, much of which is at odds with one another on logical and philosophical levels.

Confusion and anger, fueled by laughable hyperbole from social media and similar echo chambers. Frankenstein killers with no real MO....just brain melt NPCs who are so confused and angry they don't know any other way to act.

Going to get way worse before it gets better (by better I mean a complete societal rejection of most hands on digital technology that eliminates our humanity)

Have you stopped to consider the P-value might be we're in a year where trans kids have seen a catastrophic reduction in the treatment they can receive from professionals, and the administration of the most influential country on the planet has normalized the demonization of trans people? This forum and the meme thread in particular is a toxic swamp where most punchlines are just pictures of trans people.

It blows my mind that everyone is absolutely certain this is a mental health issue and yet reject the determinations and recommendations of mental health professionals, choosing instead heavy-handed, dehumanizing legislation.

If what you're suggesting is true, there will be studies that prove it; these studies always happen. I don't think that's likely but I have no idea, like one hundred percent of people in this thread.

so yeah, at a quick glance, they should not. ideally it's probably best going off a off a formal diagnosis, but the country is terrible at treating mental health and for someone to get a formal diagnosis they probably need to commit a crime or be involuntarily admitted to a mental hospital or have the system declare they're mentally incapable and by then it's probably too late.

They think about suicide because they get treated like shit by a large part of society.
