I think it's important to differentiate between trans women and trans men when it comes to this type of thing. Trans men (born females) are honestly pretty damn harmless. Decent workers, good senses of humour, higher rate of mental health issues for sure, but my experiences with them have been pretty alright. I can't remember an instance of them shooting up a workplace or anything, although I'm sure someone else has. Not nearly as likely to sexually assault minors when compared to...

Trans women. This is a major can of worms that I guarantee has already been opened like 50 times in this 17 page thread, but when folks speak of trans people in general they seem to be referring to trans women; it's kind of like the default trans. They commit the violent crimes, they have mental health disorders at an alarming rate compared to the general population, and they are AGGRESSIVE in their defense of trans rights, which is not a bad thing in and of itself. Part of this is undoubtedly because they are/were biologically...

Male. Males commit the overwhelming majority of every type of crime you can imagine, from violent to white collar and everything in between. From incels, to closet homosexuals, to the straight white rednecks, to the black gangstas, etc men are the aggressors in every society the world over. The trans female movement is still quite small (but growing fast) and while they might be more likely to commit a crime than your average straight man in all likelihood it's not going to be them robbing you at an ATM or stabbing you over a glare. At the end of the day, we as men (and it is overwhelmingly a sausage fest on the SD) would probably be best to continue, or in some cases start, to judge every individual by their character vice their pronouns and endeavour to be the best versions of ourselves before we start putting down a minority group that for the most part is just looking to achieve equality and not be the subject of ridicule in public.

Having said all that, I would never have consented to my kids being read to by drag queens in their youth, so I still have a ways to go there myself.
