Gleison Tibau vs. Evan Dunham set for UFC 156

Tibau takes a decision

Oh man good fight
I'll be rooting for Dunham he always brings it

Tibau has the grappling/size advantage but I think Dunham trounces him on the feet. I've got Dunham via close decision.

I honestly don't want either of these guys to lose, I'd like Gleison to build another win-streak but I'd also like Dunham to get redemption from that questionable decision loss to TJ Grant and get back into title contention

I remember just 2 years ago when Dunham was a candidate for Breakthrough Fighter of the Year

Dunham's loss to Grant wasn't questionable, now Tibau's losses to Guillard and Nurmagomedov on the other hand...

Damn good fight. Evan Dunham takes this. He has underrated wrestling and even if Tibau takes him down Dunham will scramble back up to his feet and outbox him all day. Dunham by UD

dunham's in certain ways a problem for tibau. tibau likes to set his own pace. he has some power in his standup and the physical strength and takedown to bully guys but he's not a big-time finisher either with his subs or with his strikes. dunham on the other hand is gritty as fuck and will attack everywhere. additionally, one of the best wrestlers in the LW division and with a superior gas tank to Tibau was unable to keep Dunham grounded for the duration of the fight and ended up getting lit up late in the matchup.

What was controversial about the Nurmagomedov loss? Tibau spent the whole fight defending himself & offering nothing offensively, that shouldn't win you a fight.. If you wanna talk about bad calls, lets talk about Tibau's "win" over Dos Anjos.....

A little bit odd given Tibau is coming off a win and Dunham off a loss, given how UFC matchmaking usually goes. It sounds like a really entertaining fight but it'd really suck to see Dunham drop two straight again.

I think Tibau is a bad match-up for him stylistically. He's a big dude with strong grappling. I think he'll win a decision with repeated takedowns and top control.

This is actually a really good analysis. Makes me re-think my own pick. Should be an interesting fight.

tibau arguably beat guillard and the Khabib fight was tough to score. Kahbib sure as shit was the aggressor and used his wrestling nicely to negate tibau's much-vaunted takedowns but he was shut down in his own offensive takedown game and ate some big counters when he kept pressuring and throwing at tibau. it was a close fight though i definitely had it for khabib on my card.

RDA fight was competitive but tibau hurt him bad in the second- helped to clinch the fight for sure. tibau deserved it.

I dont get why everyone makes it like dunham vs. grant was a wash. i saw a real close fight there and felt the decision quite possibly could have gone to dunham.
