So that talk needs to stop NOW.

Ok he's on a dip in his career - almost all fighters have them.

He's been fighting since 1999.
Most wins in the LW division (16)
Career 33-14
UFC 16-12

He subbed Trujillo in 15 and got busted for PEDs - again so what, half the roster has been caught on them and the rest probably just haven't been caught. Then he was out for 3 years, comes back, fights twice in 6 months and loses a KO and a decision. When you've been out that long and in such a competitive division again it's really not a big deal. Got caught while ring rusty then lost a UD, he has the grappling to give most of the division fits and can hang with most on the feet as well, he is one of the fighters with the deepest portfolio of work in the organisation, experienced and scrappy and still definitely relevant. Still hungry. String a couple of wins together and he'll be back on the main card. He's already taken the (real) champ Khabib to decision.

With USADA testing and all his mileage, he is mediocre at best. A decent gatekeeper, nothing more.

He's dropped four in a row, and popped for EPO in one of those. Yeah, he's done as far as the UFC goes. Future ACB contender incoming.
