Give Machida 5 years of his youth back and Anders 5 years more of experience and I think it would be just as competitive.

Anders is huge for MW- great athlete, inexperienced af.

Could have finished Machida 2-3 times but he kept following up on his hard lefts with takedown attempts.

Yeah Anders may have been giving Machida too much respect. Dirty boxing in the clinch would have been money. Or like you said just following up more instead of going for the instinctual TD.
