Have to give credit to both, Fergusson is elite, great allround. Maybe champion caliber.

This Vanatta kid if continues to improve he is going far.

what a fantastic fight. I was beyond entertained. it even got me off my seat, shouting random surprised profanities haha

Man still cant believe he just did that to ferg
Had me yelling at the tv before i even realized i was yelling at the tv
Very exciting fighter maybe fw in his future?
Hes speed would translate well

I wouldn't mind any combination of Alvarez vs. Ferguson, Khabib, Conor, Diaz. Most likely scenario is Alvarez vs. Conor/Diaz winner while Khabib vs. Ferguson gets remade for true #1 contender. They both beat short notice replacements and it'll be hard to justify a title shot for either guy.

I especially loved the "Eddie, I know you want that easy Conor fight but I'm ready to sign on the dotted line".

Do it. Sign it. I would love to see El Cucuy take the belt! (nothin' against Eddie. El Cucuy is just more exciting to me).

Vannata isn't going anywhere unless he puts his fucking hands up.

tough call, wish he had fought khabib then there'd be a clear #1 contender for belt. I'd watch either. they might give the next shot to conor or nate, and Khabib and ferg both have to wait.

Landon>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ferguson

Imagine what a full camp Groovy does to dat ass????!!! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy for Tony but he did not make that look easy at all...

Ferguson should get the title should unless Conor beats Diaz and wants it. Vannata is one of the top prospects n the sport at only 24 and with that standup game

Just give him a full camp and I PROMISE he beats any LW in the world not named Khabib. The guy is McGregor with a right and an all american wrestler. He was doing movement shit before we even knew Ido Portal played touch butt. Lando on a full camp, MOPS the floor with Tony.

Nate Diaz beats McGregor and the TS is his.

Ferguson is going to have to mix it up with either RDA or Khabib to get a shot.

Freakin awesome fight. Action. Cucuy could have easily boxed him up. Jabs then straight rights for first 2 rds. Tire dude out. Then go for finish in the 3rd. But he fought really risky. Which was totally exciting. Getting him in lots of trouble but still coming out on top. Lando was game

Vanatta stepped in with one of the best LWs out there and turned it into a hell of a fight. Props to that man

This was insight to McGregor vs Tony. And Ferguson would crumble on the pressure

I'm really hoping that Tony was just underestimating this guy, because no way in any kind of hell he gets out of the 1st with RDA or Khabib fighting like that...

I really think he just underestimated him. Plus the looked like they belonged in two different weight classes.

That was a great fight and Vanatta is clearly a great fighter, so that's a great win.

Too many MMA fans put too much stock into rankings and records. I've seen guys give Fedor credit for beating a "top 5 HW" in Gary Goodridge, while Ferguson seems to have lost stock in the eyes of many fans for beating an actually good fighter who wasn't ranked. I mean, I know Fedor is way more popular than Ferguson, but it shows a big problem where fans are just going by rankings instead of just looking at how good the fighter actually was.

That was a performance worthy of a title shot, for sure.

Most definitely underestimated Vannata, I was very impressed with his debut I look forward to seeing him again. Tony is a vet once he got his hands on him Goodnight Charlie...
