Gina Carano would have whooped Rousy

ronda might have some trouble throwing her because ronda wouldn't be much stronger but I think she trips her and arm bars her in the first round. Cyborg ko's ronda in the first round.

Depends when

if she fought in the ufc (when they recently wanted to sign her for 1 fight)
she would have took the money from zuffa and took the dive and like most of ronda's opponents

Well. Gina Carano's MMA debut was at 135lbs against Leiticia Pestova but she really wasn't suited to fighting there at 5'8'' and fairly thick over all. And she liked to eat when not in training, that did not help. (The event characterized the fight as a flyweight fight, not a unified standard of weights.)

I recall reading different fighters getting the word out on Carano as not being a real 135er but someone fighting down - a heads up about just how big she was in comparison to other bantamweights of that time period.

In EliteEX she fought at "Carano" weight of 140lbs which is where more of her fights took place. She did miss weight a few times, most notably against Kaitlin Young, you'll see it listed as a 145lbs fight but Carano had to give up 12.5% for missing weight by 4.5lbs. There are other minor snags during her reign at EliteXC.

Strikeforce bought out EliteXC and she fought Cyborg at 145lbs and was finished in the first round. A sloppy but decent fight it was.

Carano fought Elaina Maxwell at 150lbs. I recall there being some complaints about Maxwell and not being completely on mark for the weight. Looking into it now I can't see anything but I do recall it being mentioned years ago. This was fought in Strikeforce prior to Carano's stint in EliteXC.

If Gina or Cyborg missed weight by 5 pounds or so they always got away with it.

Though Ronda got far more attention due to the UFC hype machine, Gina and Cyborg put womens MMA on the map.

Ronda was part of the UFC putting womens MMA in the UFC map.
Ufc map is the only map that matters
Specially for women's mma
Sorry gina

That would have been a fun fight. With the right camp and gameplan I definitely think Gina would have beaten her but if she just came in and fought it probably would have ended badly, like the Zingano fight or something...this was early WMMA remember, before most fighters were training at places like Jacksons. I really feel a lot of Rousey's success was due to terrible gameplanning on the part of her opponents and many of them not training in legit gyms and high level camps designed to exploit an opponent's weaknesses.
