Understandable, to each their own and all that jazz. I don't personally care one way or another and don't see it as a hill to die on one way or another because I think there was some leeway in how the ref may have interpreted what was happening (especially in light of the presence of an injury, exhaustion, and the damage Herbert had sustained), but it is what it is. TKO looks better for Algeo on his record, so I'm sure he's happy about that.

For what it's worth I have my own weird bugbears about fight stoppages, like Hill versus Craig. That probably should have been a technical submission, but it went on just long enough to be a TKO instead.
