Darren Till said he used to be 200 pounds in an interview, when he was a WW. If a fighter makes weight successfully, then people should not have a problem with a guy fighting at that weight. Paulo Costa was 214 pounds against Romero in 2019. I have a no problem with guys cutting massive weight to fight at a weight class, if they have no problem making it successfully.

Since they live in the United States, the same as the Americans. And both the Brazilians and Americans are taking the same as everyone else. Short ester testosterone and HGH. Fighters tend to get caught when they mess around with other shit, like Vettori with Ostarine, Dillashaw with EPO, Moreno with Clenbuterol, Werdum with Trenbolone, etc. You don’t ever see fighters testing positive for HGH, for example. Fighters in Latin America pop more often because they use low-quality steroids made in someone’s bathtub with long half-lives. Commonly found steroids are durateston (which contains, short and long esters - easy to get caught) and trenbolone (very easy to flag). In addition, HGH is more expensive and it is practically impossible to get your hands on some of the more modern PED’s like EPO. Regional Brazilian fighters end up taking the same stuff your broke bodybuilder would take, which aren’t ideal for performance, are easy to find in their urine, and are very detrimental to health when compared to what your regional American fighter will take. Does make them more jacket tho lol.

Heights across most sports are lies and never properly confirmed.

Inches get added in basketball, hockey, MMA, etc.

you can believe what you wanna believe but tapology and ufc.com usually exaggerate the heights a few inches. Photos showing the top half without the shoes usually aren't a good gauge in height since fighters wear differing shoes. Also next to 5'8 Conor, I wouldn't have guessed cowboy above 5'11.

Edwards is likely 6'0.5, Usman 5'11

Cerrone is not 6 foot 1. I have seen Cerrone listed as 5 foot 11 in the WEC. He seems like a legit 5 foot 11. Nate Diaz, who is a legit 6 foot tall, was taller than Cerrone in their faceoffs. Look at Darren Till vs. Cerrone. Till was taller than Cerrone, even though Till is listed as 6 feet. Cerrone is not 6 foot 1.

I recall GSP being announced as 5 foot 9.5 in one of his Canadian fights before he entered the UFC. Suddenly UFC bumped his height to 5 foot 11, when there was a talk of a superfight between Silva and GSP. Same with Adesanya, who has always been listed as 6 foot 3, even as a kickboxer outside the UFC. UFC bumped his height to 6 foot 4 before the Silva fight. Maybe since Jon Jones was 6 foot 4 also, and they wanted Adesanya to be the same. UFC heights are no way accurate. I went to the UFC Fan Expo in Toronto, along with other fight week events over the years in the city, and it was surprising how several fighters were shorter in person than how they were listed. Guys like Woodley, Bisping, Shogun, Cerrone, Rashad, Bader, Phil Davis, Velasquez, Fitch, Hardy, Glover Texeira, and Couture, were all 1-2 inches shorter than they were listed.
