GIFs: Khabib's fast double leg takedown attempts + Head Mooment

I'm not sure he was rocked at all. It looked like it for a second but every punch thrown after he moved away from while moving awkwardly, I didn't think he was hurt in that exchange just based on how he evaded everything.

Youre crazy that wasnt an exciting fight. The 30 seconds of Dustins offence was ok but otherwise its the same old thing.
Khabib holds his opponent down against the cage and throws a few punches and attempts neck crank.
People used to shit on Randy Couture for wall and stall or dirty boxing on the fence too much but for me his style was easier to appriciate.

Dunno to each his own. I saw a guy just man handling a dude and it was the most demasculting thing to the opponent i ever saw.
Couture was boring, this aint the same,
khabib just mauls you. To each his own i guess.

From the live PPV they show a camera angle that makes it look like Dustin staggers him with 2 overhand rights. But the slow motion replay shows Khabib is rolling with the punches and parrying with his left. Totally aware.
 
I always preferred his single leg attempts especially the high crotch finishes

The one he did on Conor was absolutely beautiful

takes ridiculously good timing and accuracy to actually pull of a flying knee and even if it connects there's no guarantee that it stops the takedown.

Conor tried a flying knee against Khabib and he got single legged into bolivian.

Khabib rarely shoots for a single leg without doing some striking first, and if he does do that he goes for a very low single which goes below the knee line.

If you look at the gifs of Khabib shooting in on Dustin closely, Khabib walks towards him with hands up to get Dustin conscious of his punches and then he shoots immediately once Dustin thinks about a potential striking exchange.

I like both their styles very much. Couture vs gonzaga was a masterclass performance

He said before the fight that he felt confident in his ability to stand and recover. So he trained to get Taken down, get up, break from the clinch, and throw some heat. Obviously he miscalculated the degree to which Khabib can wrestle fuck you.
