As someone that frequents northern boxing gyms, Marcus Davis was FAR from "the best Irish southpaw" (even in the northern region). Not EVEN RELOTELY trying to take anything away from Davis because he CERTAINLY had/has "skills". But I've seen more technical/powerfull "gym rats". Davis had been out of pro boxing for over a decade when that happened.
