Hey guys,

Another one of my in depth gi reports, this one is by Masaru - a new brand who sponsor Braulio Estima, Victor Estima and Roger Gracie among a host of others.

Full report here:
MEERKATSU: Gi Review: Masaru Fight Co, BJJ Kimono in blue

Pros:
1. Reasonably light
2. Sensibly cut and minimal shrinkage

Cons:
1. My sample had poor quality control
2. Did not like the patch and logos

The patch design seemed to really divide people...what are your thoughts?

Thanks for the great review. Its awesome that you are honest with the construction issues

How does the weave compare to the Komodo in terms of softness and breath-ability (does it get hot)?

Hey Rellik - the Masaru is thinner than the Fushida komodo but funnily, not as soft or pliable. however, being thinner, I feel a lot less hot rolling with it compared to my Komodo.

Supergrappler - the gi is made in China. I think I did write that in my report.

the gi top looks pretty good on eyou man , the skirt doesnt look so long on you .
