Health Getting a hemmeroidectomy on 10/30

Not convinced sticking something into your freshly surgerized asshole is a good idea? Not a dr.

Well, I meant after the fact. Like, after he heals up and is about his regular business again. Hemmies will come back, they always do. So that advice was for that.

this is good ji I am happy

Yeah the closer I get to surgery the more scared I’m getting lol 🤣

I had this surgery done in my 20s.

If i had any recommendations it would be to not take the pain medicine unless absolutely necessary. Opiates make you constipated and i was an addict at the time when i had this done. So i abused the hell out of my pills then i didnt shit for 5 days post surgery

Man, it was the biggest snd worst shit of my life. It was like giving birth i had to poop in the bath tub and it was like the size of half a football.

But honestly that was like 10+ years ago and while ive had some minor hemmeroids since nothing major like that. I think quitting drinking really helped my bowel movements not be more regular. Like one normal shit a day instead of a bunch of watery painful craps all the time.
I’ve already been to rehab and have been on suboxone for like 3 years now. I get it. That’s going to be the worst part. Idk if I have to get off the opioid maintenance to take real pain killers or not, I know I gotta go to N appt on the 28th to see

Thats probably what caused it. Being super constipated from opiates.

This is what I had done.

You still bleed for a bit, but NOTHING like before and no lumps.

Dr. will likely say you can eat whatever and you can, but take stool.softeners and have those pain killers in you working full time for your first new shit. Its gonna hurt.

Thanks for the info bro. Not gonna lie, I’m scared/nervous AF but the benefits of this surgery is going to be super worth it
