Seems like no one saw this movie. Most people I ask haven't even heard of it. I guess Mel Gibson is still considered box office poison, because I don't even think it got a theatrical release. Anyway, it was really fun. It's 50-something Mel playing an ex-sniper turned bank robber, who gets arrested and sent to a Mexican prison. It's not as dark as it sounds, there are shades of dark, but it mostly has kind of a fun serial Western vibe to it. If you enjoy Mel, you'll like it.

Anyone else seen this thing?

It came out six months ago I guess. I just saw it this week.

I remember hearing the words, but my brain never sought the source

If it wasn't for these damn liberals Mel Gibson would be dominating the box office and Django could have a line of collectable figures.

I thought i heard it was a sequel of sorts to payback?

Speaking of Payback, I had no idea it had an alternate ending. I've seen the movie multiple times with the same ending. The last time I saw it, which was on netflix, it diverted in story and was completely different in its path and ending. Has anyone else seen both endings to Payback?

I always skimmed by it on Netflix, but because of you TS im gonna watch it.

Damn you guys with Netflix
But thanks for reminding me I forgot about this but will get on board

I never heard of this. I also really dislike alternate endings, because I think they cheap out on the narrative continuity of a film.

Yeah man. I hadn't heard of it either. While I was watching it, I followed the story as usual. Suddenly, I realized the movie was unfolding like I had never seen. Subsequently, I immediately looked up information on the movie to discover that the film had two versions. For whatever reason, the other version of the film that I hadn't seen was the one available on streaming netflix.

In my humble opinion, it wasn't nearly as good as the other version of the film.

I downloaded it a during the summer when I was bored and I was pleasantly surprised, I really enjoyed the movie.

Nothing earth shattering, but a fun film.

I saw it Petey, and I loved it. I'm still a fan of that lunatic, Gibson, on screen.

Had it in my Top 10 Films of last year.

From the ones I've seen, in no particular order.

The Grey, Flight, Get the Gringo, Dredd, The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit, Looper, End of Watch, Argo.

I wouldn't watch anything with Mel Gibson in it personally.
