No. It was that you looked stupid because you clearly didn't know who Brokovich was when you dropped her name in a context that didn't make sense. Is that hard to understand Dom Deluise?

I didn't think you'd have an answer.
LOL at Brokovich's name even coming into this

@Darkballs got upset I jokingly called him Erin Brokovich.

Is he a confirmed lawyer or just claimed to be? I know a hell lot of clerks or law students who claim to be lawyers....

Kavanaugh went into a very elaborate anecdote on how his perspective changed about president facing charges after he witnessed 9/11. You'd think a constitutional lawyer would watch a SCOTUS hearing instead of asking me to regurgitate it for you.

I'm just asking for the legal argument you found convincing. And you can't even tell us. But at least you gave an explanation as to why Kavanaugh did a 180. No, it wasn't due to partisanship. It was due to 9/11. Jesus christ.

Are you going to keep moving the goal posts? First you and that other poster ask why I think presidents shouldn't be indicted while in office. I mention my reasoning and say that other legal experts view it that way too. The other poster asks me for an example. I give most prominent example in the news. He fades away after that. Now you jump in asking for exact legal reasoning, while getting rustled that I called you Erin Brokovich and claiming to be a constitutional lawyer.

<DontBelieve1>

And your reasoning was nothing more than Kavanaugh said so, and you don't mind him having completely changed his mind because he gave a good anecdote about 9/11.

And I've asked if there anything more and it's clear there isn't, or you would have spoken up by now. Instead you tried to lay out an insult by invoking a constitutional lawyer, and you came up with Erin Brokovich, who is neither a lawyer, nor an advocate of constitutional law.

Suck it, Lionel Ritchie!

It seems like every time a new piece of information breaks adding to the mounting evidence linking conspiracy & collusion between Trump & Russia a new TRUmpb0t comes in to derail the thread and argue something completely irrelevant to the investigation.

Many meltdowns, double yellows, bans & utter destruction of poster's credibility has happened in this thread. It's been a joy to watch.

I remember back in the day of the early versions of these threads the elder posters fought off the dimwitted. It's good to see the younger graduates schooling the current crop of drooling zombies on the law when they're supposed to be the party of it.

Trump has the best people

Last time some dumbass did something similar, (i think it was Palin/campaign target map) a psycho shot that Arizona Dem politician.

I know remembering things that counter your beliefs is impossible butnwince you give this shitty example on he palin thing the democrats released an identical map just with the targets changed. Since a Bernie fan shot that republican senator it’s obvious Bernie is at fault

Rather because department of justice was actively trying to take down a Democratically elected president, even before he took office. It's banana-republic type stuff. Probably what Russia is like, ironically.

I used to chuckle how Alex Jones was all worked up about the "establishment" and "deep state" coming after Trump after he got elected. I thought AJ was playing a roll of a troll hopped up on his pseudo-vitamins and channeling CT through his brain for the entertainment value. But as more stuff came out, it's not as funny. I also found it odd they shut him down so quickly and in such organized fashion.

Sheeple will of course ignore it, because it can crush their cozy/safe worldview.
Oh, I see, an Alex Jones listener. That explains everything. :D

No Stone is getting money from the Rubes. He is trying to act all tough, right before he turns on Trump. He doesn't want jail time, so he will walk a fine line by acting tough but not enough in getting extra jail for violating the gag order. He profits and then sings.
Out of the Group of Trump associates, I called it a long time ago, the only ones that wont flip would be OG Manafort and any of Trumps kids.
Kushner is 50/50 on flipping. His old man is a criminal and criminals typically aren't loyal. So based on being from a criminal family, I put Da Kush at flipping at 80/20.
I was with you on all of that. I think Kushner if he sees himself really facing time might flip. However I went from thinking Roger would be one of the quickest flippers to now thinking he may actually stick it out and play the pardon game.

I originally believed it not knowing much about Stone beyond the caricature he shown to us on TV. But doing some research on him and watching the namesake documentary for this thread makes me now think he might be a true believer. Someone willing to go down for what he sees as a cause. Also I think he was the notoriety. He wants to be famous but will accept infamous as long as he gets more than a footnote in the history books.

But then if he folds like a house of cards, particularly if they let him see Manafort and how this incarceration time apparently has him looking near death, from a very robust, big and healthy guy prior, Roger may have second thoughts.

If Mueller was smart he should have them wheeling Manafort out of court one day as Roger is walking in. Let Roger really lay eyes on him and give him a good dose of foreshadowing about what sitting around waiting for a pardon from this POTUS looks like.

Contacting Wikileaks to find inside scoop on Hillary's email whereabouts is "breaking the law"? He's a journalist, ffs. It's all bunch of big bullshit, but drink the coolaid if you're so inclined.
lol. Is this where the spin is now trying to go. "He's a journalist" LMFAO.

No, he is someone that was colluding with Russia to impact and sway an American election.

LOL, you're mad I called you Erin Brokovich? <Lmaoo>
If you watched his hearing, he went into detail about his explanation on his changed views regarding the matter. I find it reasonable.
I watched the hearing and thought we'd be better served with a more emotionally stable and less partisan nominee. This is Trump though so the only thing that matters is getting a guy in there willing to protect him.

I say suspend habeas corpus and try Rosentein, Comey and McCabe under military tribunal for coup d'etat.

You'll see how many people will roll as a result.

Many legal experts agree that President should not be prosecuted for crimes during office. It does detract from his responsibilities. If they want to go after him, do so after his term.

Wow you are all the way gone.

"Suspend habeas corpus" and go after Rosenstein. COmey and McCabe for doing their job?

Yes Mueller should present his evidence to Congress and the Senate and allow them to impeach. If they do not and a Grand Jury suggest charges, those charges should then be sealed until Trump leaves office and then charged.

THe DOJ, FBI and CIA have a job to do regardless of who wins an election. The US does not elect KIngs and if they suspect ties to Russia or Secret Muslims that may impact not just an election but the country they cannot and SHOULD NOT turn a blind eye because an election is on. IN fact it is the election that demands they look closer.

Manafort alone, being the campaign chair, justifies this entire investigation which was for 'ties between the CAMPAIGN' and Russia. They have already proved Manafort had serious ties. That NEEDED to be proved and he NEEDED to be put in jail for that.

To say that should be ignored because Trump was elected POTUS is stupid. If anything Trump NEEDS this investigation so that people can know he was not colluding with Manafort because without being exonerated it would look terrible to have it exposed later that your Campaign Chair was actively colluding with Russia during your campaign at the time Russia was doing things to try and help Trump win the election by illegally interfering.

Yup,

And i used to let myself get drawn into the side distractions. "What about Hilary?", "What about Obama", "What about McCabe, Rosenstein and Comey" and that is a mistake.

You are not going to win and suddenly convince them with evidence about anything on the above. That is not why they forward it for honest debate. They want to clutter up the thread and derail the Trump focus and we all too often let them.

It is what Trump is doing with the Wall. He does not want anyone focused on or talking about anything else. If you are talking about the Wall, he is winning as you are not focused on his criminal probe. The Wall gins up his base. The Russia stuff drives it down. So what do you think he prefers we talk about and what do we think he will ensure stays in the news all through the next election as it winds its way through the courts.

Just an aside, from one of the comments, "The tension is so thick anymore." Why do I keep seeing the term anymore misused so much lately? I think I even heard it on a radio commercial the other day. Are people reading too many Russian bot posts? It's like people don't care what words mean anymore.

Stone's not right upstairs to blatantly threaten the judge with assasination via sniper. Some Trump cocksucker panelist tried to spin it as not a crosshair image but some new age symbol.
