He's legit and one of the best HWs regardless if he loses against Francis. That said, I am not particularly a fan and will be rooting for Francis.

Im rooting for Francis too bro and it's only because I'm tired of people talking crap about him. So many people talk about how he has "power" well then how come guys who are roided powerhouses cant knock guys out. It's not just power man Francis is a real knockout artist he has incredible punching technique and accuracy. Just because someone is a brawler doesn't mean he has bad technique. I like Ciryl and Stipe a LOT actually but I don't like how everyone talks about the predator man. His dad was a feared african street fighter and no one stops to think maybe he learned a lot about how to knock people out with punching technique from him.

When he destroyed the Kung Fu Panda I knew he was something special.

im on the train for this fight. based off what ive seen, cyrille can definitely beat an unskilled, overhyped one trick pony diva like nggano. to be fair, i believe all of the greats could beat him. stipe did it, and i believe prime versions of fedor, cormier, jones, or even randy could beat him. it’s bad that someone like nggano could become champ, but it’s understandable. size, power, athleticism, and all those attributes can overwhelm anyone on any given day. hell, even hoost lost to bob sapp, twice. but if nggano is allowed to hold that belt for even one defense, it will signal a very low point for the hw division. god help us if he manages to windmill his way into the record books.

To be clear, I was early on the Gane train and still am, but I am leaning Ngannou to win this one.
Gane is incredible, but people still don't understand what he is up against. He can win though, and if he does, no one else will beat him.

I just rewatched the Derrick Lewis fight. My god,you can tell in the staredown that Gane knew he was winning this fight. He had no fear at all. he looked completley at ease and super confident.

I didn't catch that first time, but looks like you're right, and that's just the attitude I want him to bring to Ngannou. It's also worth noting that Gane was never in any real trouble against Lewis, who can also put your lights out in a wink. So that does indeed bode well for him.

If he beats Ngannou by decision I will appreciate his work but I guarantee that those who only appreciate haymakers and knockouts will move him to #1 most hated/boring list. Brace yourself.
