I don't buy that. She's a published scientist, so I find it hard to believe she couldn't predict the consequences of her actions. Her job is to serve the interests of her citizens above all others. So I'm going to assume she's smart and not blinded by idiotic ideology.

Eh, she published 7 papers over the course of 18 years. One of those was an op/ed puff piece nine years after she published the bulk of her articles . So 6 articles over a nine year period. There's nothing wrong with that publication rate if she had been performing actual bench science. You know, the kind where you have positive and negative controls, experimental parameters/conditions/reagents to optimize, all sorts of equipment problems to resolve and all the other assorted accoutrements that make hard science the trench warfare that it is.

But her publications seem to focus mostly on ab initio quantum chemistry. A lot of computational modeling and math, not so much actual real world stuff. Hell, the title of one of her publications is "Nonempirical parameter estimate for the statistical adiabatic theory of unimolecular fragmentation".

"Nonempirical" pretty much sums it up.

Strange publication pattern, too. Seven year gap between her first two publications and the other four (all low impact factor journals, btw).
