Georges St Pierre left handed?

I don't follow this. If you have right handed shot at hockey and raise your stick, your left hand is on the bottom. Same as if you were batting right, your left hand is your bottom hand.

I shoot right at hockey. Bat right at baseball. Golf right. etc.

(And jerk right...to keep with the hi-jacked theme of the thread).

If you're right handed, you're supposed to hold the stick facing to the left with your dominant (right in this case) hand at the top of the stick (we're talking normal hockey stick holding now, no turning it upright lol) so you can poke check more efficiently among many other things.

Every lefty I know does some things right handed. They are just weird people.

I'm a lefty, but there's a bunch of things I do with my right, and some things that I can do with both. I originally fought orthodox, but can quite comfortably fight as a southpaw now after forcing myself to be able to switch stances.

I also used to wipe my ass with my right, but after I almost cut my finger off with a blender, I had to use my left and have ever since. True story.

I bet this is because he played hockey at a young age. I'm the same way. If you're right handed and you play hockey, you hold your stick with your left hand on top and your right hand on the bottom. (hand positioning I'm referring to is if you were to hold your stick upright like a baseball bat)

This isn't true. Most Canadians like to have their strong hand on top of the stick, so most right handed players shoot left. For some reason Americans and Russians usually shoot right if they are right handed, opposite of most Canadians. But in hockey you get a good mix of both right and left handed players shooting either way. I shoot right and am right handed

So, GSP > Jones in basketball.

Who wouda thunk?

You can play with your strong hand high on the stick or low.

Sooo is everyone gonna ignore the pic of him writing right handed?

I didn't know that, I play hockey left-handed even though I'm a righty because when I learned as a child I didn't have a stick at first and borrowed one from my left-handed friend.

When I first started playing I convinced myself I was capable of playing with both hands.

I just sucked equally.
