I think a lot of people on this forum would benefit from stopping watching this sport altogether. Burnout happens, and this is not a great era of UFC. If you don’t feel like watching any of the cards, don’t know who’s who anymore, and just wait for the results to get posted, you’re burnt out. Take a break or stop watching because unfortunately the product is not getting any better.

Honestly, I used to look so forward every month... even when I had to wait for my local vid store to finally get it. Today, it seems I get that kinda rush a few times a year. This shit is so talent-diluted at this point and then they throw in women just to rub it in our faces.

Fuck corporate MMA. Khamzat bores you? Knees to the head from top control, head butts from guard, and shots to the back of the head from crucifix, as it would be in true combat. Let their corner stop it or let them tap!

K, kinda vented... all love, sherpimps.

I think a lot of people on this forum would benefit from stopping watching this sport all together, burn out happens and this is not a great era of UFC if you don’t feel like watching any of the cards don’t know who’s who’s anymore and just wait for the results to get posted your burnt out, take a break or stop watching because unfortunately the product is not getting any better.
You'll be raked over the coals with a combination of boot licker-ism and criticisms largely based on misrepresentation of your actual point.

But you'll still be right. Kudos 🤜🤛

I honestly just pay less attention to the UFC, and more attention to their alternatives. I've also enjoyed the other niche fighting orgs that have popped up over the last few years, like BKFC. The Dirty Boxing card last night was lit as fuck. UFC has never really been the end all be all of fighting, for me, if it disappeared overnight I'd not really be that disappointed. Fights will still happen

UFC/MMA used to be a niche sport but not anymore.

but not as big as soccer but the only sport who is neck and neck with soccer today which is something dana said like 12-15 years ago and he was laughed at back then but look today.

MMA was mainstream only in the US 10 years ago but today it is mainstream in Asia, Africa and Europe including Oceania and parts of South America

I view the product as i always have done, theres good cards, theres bad cards and i just move on to the next one, not worth getting in an uproar about imo.
I care more about the fights themselves as well over named/ranked fighters as sometimes its the ranked fights that end up disappointing you due to the fighters playing it safe.

Thats what I miss so much about the golden era of MMA, there were so many great MMA orgs, especially between 2002 - 2015, we had UFC, Pride, WEC, Strikeforce (all of them were excellent and so much fun), even Cage Rage was quite fun to watch back then, I didn't like Elite XC that much personally but it wasn't bad.

Remember the days when we would have a huge UFC PPV and huge Pride PPV on the weekend, UFC would be saturday and Pride sunday, it was amazing! the hype and buzz and excitement was incredible. It was a magical time, MMA was booming at that time, couldn't get enough of it.

Human cockfighting hasn't been the same since the 2010s, but that could just be me slowly turning into an old miserab. Ultimately it's not the fighters' fault or even the UFC's. People grow apart and so do their interests.

I going through an obsessive phase with all MMA right now but the UFC needs to be careful how much they "persuade/help" a fighters path to become champ. Not to shit on peoples hero but fighters like Ilia need to fight challengers he cant just not fight the best and then get the nod to jump another division after getting another gifted title fight. I guess what I am saying is there needs to be some rules, its becoming a circus and its really unfair to other fighters. I watch PFL and understand why the UFC does what they do but their needs to be a reasonable balance of this stuff when it comes to champ responsibilities. DDP was talking 2 division champ crap after he actually lost the first Sean fight, wtf is going on here? Shut all that shit down, all of it. People doing one defence and jumping will ruin the whole thing for me.

Nothing is stopping me as I just like watching fights, almost every card has a few fights worth watching even the terrible ones. We had an apex card not long ago where two fights got FOTN and it was some of the best action you will see in MMA.

A lot of my friends stopped watching or caring altogether though and I don’t blame them. It’s been watered down to a point where there is cards once a week but only one card if you’re lucky every month or two that’s worth getting together with your buddies for.

When the UFC is putting out so much junk it’s more about time management for a lot of people than it is burn out. These cards are simply not worth it for people to build a social event around for the weekend like it was back in the 00s and early 2010s.

I need more my life is boring.
Agreed 100%. Its boredom and ufc cures it usually, especially when gambling.

However, I skip a shit load of cards now or dont tune in for the prelims.

Then you got boring fighters winning belts and fans pretending its entertaining.

Sooner or later tho, I'll stop.
