Generation Kill - Underrated?

I agree - absolutely outstanding.

I've watched it over again a couple of times since it was first shown.

The entire cast were fantastic, and it was pretty true to the book as well.

I don't really have a strong impression on how it is rated, but it's quality work, and it feels less colored by a need to create something epic than most other comparable series.

Was gonna buy it,now I've seen all the positive coments I think I'll get it next payday, cheers.

awesome mini series. written by the guy who did the wire I think

Absolutely loved this show. They did a great job with the realism (at least to a layman like me) and also with the interaction between the characters - Trombley, Colbert, Reyes,...

The book was really good as well.

I still need to watch it. It's next on my list

Generation Kill is the only reason I watch True Blood.

decent show. pretty much any miniseries will pale in comparison to Band though

I enjoyed it and have rewatched it a few times... quality mini series

I like it a lot.

Captain America...fucking lol. There was a guy I worked with that was in the army and acted like such a retard. We called him Captain America.

Pretty good. Maybe even better than the Pacific? Hard to say. But from what I hear it is the best at showing what military life is actually like.
