General Gaming Discussion, v4: Summer Abyss

$48 for Bulletstorm? That's insane, even if it is remastered. If you still have a PS3 sitting around, that game is on sale for $5 every other week.

Got the Resident Evil Super Bundle for cheap on Xbox One on a pricing error. haven't played RE4 in forever and fired it up. I had a really hard time playing since the controls are sssooooo dated. Think I'll play Revelations 2 instead.

I'm getting it but honestly the more i think about it i have no idea why this is priced at $60 that's pretty ridiculous.

$39.99 seems more reasonable. Considering most people didn't/won't play the multiplayer.

not even that 76, maybe 24.99

Game Informer scored a some big exclusive stuff on Ninja Theory's Hellblade.

New gameplay footage with Tameem discussing the game:

I really like his comments about trying to break away from the usual checklist games are expected to meet. Personally I've preferred games that have broken that strict criteria of "what a game needs to be a game", archaic game designs.

Game Informer discusses their impressions of the game:

Really looking forward to this game; my most anticipated game at the moment. I've been following the dev diaries pretty closely and it looks incredible to me.

This months Humble Monthly had Black Mesa. The rest of it was absolute garbage, one was a point and click game ffs. I think I'm done with the monthly deal, they've been going down hill lately.
Other games this month
The Witness
Layers of fear masterpiece edition
Kingdom new lands royal edition
event[0]
tumblestone
slime-san
Jawns - not even in alpha yet

That's pretty awesome

Always been one of the few games that's made me jealous of console types

Yeah, it's great until the controls get in the way. I can't remember exactly what was off, but it had something to do with the targeting system.

I just remember that first real boss fight(think it was a bird of some kind) being such a bitch, because of the controls.

Still a good game though. Underrated. I found the criticism of it being a Zelda ripoff a little unfair, considering there are countless games that are built around the same mechanics. They just decided to pick on this game for some reason.

Thanks for letting me know!
23 minutes to go until it's downloaded.
I can't play it until tonight but I'm so excited

*edit* The UI wasn't turned on by default
{<huh}
