Actually Nintendo of America see's the obvious benefits of Social Media and wants to actually participate with YouTuber's to show their product. The problem is the big wigs at Nintendo of Japan with their rigid stolid ways and won't allow it. I'm surprised Nintendo has lasted this long. They keep making shitty inferior consoles and pulling shit like this. Joe made a good point. Everyone rips EA but at EA doesn't pull shit like this. In fact they pay people to play their games and advertise for 'em.

Funny how they didn't. I don't know what the agenda some people have with Joe. Sure he gets paid to do what he does but he puts a ton of work into his reviews and he's an independent. He doesn't have a fancy studio to work with. I'm just assuming they find him annoying and want any chance they can to rip on him.

Yeah, I hate EA, but even they don't pull shenanigans like this. Problem with Nintendo Japan is that they're fucking loaded, so can pretty much do whatever they want. They have billions in the bank and billions in assets.

I don't understand what the issue is. As owners of the IP, Nintendo doesn't feel that having Joe do a LP/review of their content is beneficial to them whatsoever. They feel, as owners of the IP, that Joe is the one benefiting from their property without their consent. So they flagged his video and demanded a piece of the pie.

The video literally doesn't exist without Nintendo. Joe has nothing to broadcast if the game doesn't exist. Yet he gets his panties in a bunch when he can't receive ALL of the profit from a video that he isn't solely responsible for. He could have kept the video up if he had simply decided to share, instead he's made himself a martyr...so he can get more viewership and money.

He still has to pay to Youtube and I'm guessing he has a media company he's signed with, Nintendo's model leaves the video creator with almost nothing. If all gaming companies do the same thing then those types of videos die. Joe said himself in the video that Nintendo are free to do it, just that it's stupid and is costing themselves money.

Got the Handsome Jack Collection Today.

Happy with how much better the game looks and runs compared to the 360 and PS3 versions i previously played BL 2 and Pre Sequel on. Very noticeable upgrade.

Loads of content here, should keep me busy awhile.

I like the Claptrap DLC so far. It's not quite Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep level, but it's entertaining.

There's no siren in TPS, but Aurelia might as well be one. Her powers are basically an ice version of Maya's.

Also, I can't believe people actually play FPSs on consoles. Mouse+keyboard pc master race 4eva.

Army of TWO I got but have no interest in, but I got back into AC recently, with AssRev, AC III and AC Lib all going on sale. Was eagerly awaiting Black Flag (not Rollins) once I heard it was gonna be a free game. I loved the naval missions in III, so basically creating a game around them sounded a great idea. I know it's far from Altair and Ezio, but they'd milked that cow dry. Just a shame they've still not got a lead as good as Ezio (although Aveline was good).
