General Gaming Discussion, v3

i know its been discussed, but is halo multiplayer still broken as fuck? tried playing slayer last night with friends and couldnt get in a game for a half hour before quitting.

Ill remember that whenever I do pick it up. The only excuse I have for not picking it up yet is sometimes I get bored to play single player games so they take me a little longer than normal. I always end up just playing Dota :icon_lol:

The ME3 MP DLC is all free. You get a ton of content. Also you'll require them to play.

quick question regarding the TLoU.

If I missed any of the collectibles in the main storyline or Left Behind do i get credit for it if i just get the one i missed? like how i can choose the chapter in left behind, if i just go to the chapter i missed can i just do that chapter and gte it or do I have to play through it all over again?

trying to get all the firefly pendants and the artifcats i missed as well as the optional conversations I missed

Yeah you can go through and pick up whatever you need to in individual chapters.

Went back to Planetside 2 and holy hell i cant stop playing that game. I did play it for a week or so when it came out but i didnt really get me hooked. Now im playing for several hours straight without noticing it.

Game works for me but it's still a piece of shit compared to every other Halo game. I mean I am very forgiving and I still like the game and I play it every day since I got it but I'm just playing solo. Trying to play with friends is so tedious and after a match you never go back to the same lobby and it's just a pure nightmare.

Playing solo if you match up and get a good team and win a match you have no ability to stick in that lobby and play with those dudes again and that's just stupid.

Excited too to play Halo 5 beta later this month but honestly the Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer is more along the lines of what I want but Halo 5 seems like it will have a lot of bells and whistles just to call it next gen which might not be necessary.

Divinity: Original Sin

After 10 hours of gameplay I realized I fucked up with spending ability points and picked the most boring class for one of my mains (ranger)..

After researching a bunch about how you should actually spend ability points, talents etc I went with a Shadowblade and Wizard (Pyro Geo)...

10 hours seems like quite the learning curve just to understand the game but I'm loving it..

Divinity: Original Sin is easily the most complex game to come out this year. It's also GoTY in my humble opinion.. I've only reached level 7 at the moment but this game crushes any dungeon crawler I've experienced including Diablo2,NW1,2, etc

Trust me. I can't believe Dragon Age: Inquistion won GotY over this... Well I can, the game is simple. but yea

Ubisoft sure likes to make it easier to hate them

I'd like to say I'm officially part of the PS4 club, hyped for my PS4!

going back and tyring to platinum some games, sucks when i won't be able to finish a game due to online trophies.

So, hopefully I get enough replies so I won't have to make a thread, but here goes!

I need some new Ps3 games! I've refound my love for rpgs since getting skyrim last year, and really need to add some games to my collection that are similar.

I've heard that fallout 3 and New Vegas are literally unplayable with the amount of bugs in the game. How true is this? Really interested in those.

Any other recommendations would be great! I really enjoy open world RPGs.

I Play Skyward Sword every December. At it's core it's a really fun game, but it is marred with lots of annoying shit. Still, if you can get past Fi and the huge amount of cut scenes in the beginning, it is a fun Zelda game.

Nobody does rpg's like Bethesda...so stick with Bethesda...try Oblivion, some say its better than skyrim(I disagree, but it's still great)...Fallout was garbage at release for ps3 but have been patched...even if they are still buggy, they are too good not to play...Dark Souls are very good games if you want non-Bethesda rpg...

If you're looking for a bit of a challenge and a unique experience check out Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, and Dark Souls 2. Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 feel more open world but all of them are great, I think Dark Souls is one of the best games of all time.

Standard enemies can fuck you up and the beauty is in the combat system and the level design.

Dragons Dogma.

I really appreciate all the replies, fellas. Just ordered New Vegas ultimate edition, and Oblivion Game of the year edition. DLC heavy!

I'm also planning on getting into dark souls soon as well.

What's up with dragon's dogma? Quick synopsis/gameplay explanation?
