Gegard Mousasi is Overrated

Moose and Rory are the best fighters ever cut by UFC.

They employ 100 BS fighters and cut those 2. Naw man....cut the 100 bums.
Rory and Moose not being in the UFC but cm punk being on a UFC PPV is ridiculous (the ufc is becoming a joke).

Id consider Mousasi the favourite against our middleweight champ.. Romero and Jacare tough fights for him but other than that he should be the favourite against all middleweights.

Also Machida was clearly roided for the fight in Brazil (got popped shortly after and he looked completely different to when he is fighting in the states).

Beating Weidman was huge. Stylistically he would be a bad match up for Mousasi but Moose was gaining the upperhand and would have finished weidman even without the faking bullshit.

Moose is legit top 5 MW

Neither one of them were cut. They both signed with Bellator because they were offered more money.

I'd day he's pretty damn good. He's no Shlemenko, but still pretty damn good.

I think Moose's quirky personality resonates a lot with some Sherdoggers and that gets him a lot of love on here more so than his fights

Overrated my ass.
He is not the goat, but still a very good fighter.
People who play down his record obliviously acknowledge his talent.

'But he lost to this or that fighter.' Yep he lost, only 6 times in 50 fights.
If a very good fighter fights another very good fighter, one of them loses. That doesn't make the loser mediocre.

I’m a fan of Gegard and I think he is a great fighter but people act like he’s Iike
he’s an undefeated p4p #1. Gegard’s UFC run was decent at best. He beat some mid tier fighters like Ilir Latifi, Uriah Hall, and Thiago Santos. But everyone else he beat were out of their prime like Dan Hendo, Leites, Belfort, and Mark Munoz. While he always lost to the guys at the top like Machida, Souza, and he even lost to Uriah Hall( which I believe is 100% a fluke), Even in Strikeforce, which I thought was his best run, he struggled with OSP, an out of prime Jardine, and lost to King Mo, who are all certified B level fighters. Mousasi always struggles against really good grapplers/wrestler like Chris Weidman, Jacare, King Mo, and Gono. His best wins are mostly against out of prime fighters but he has some impressive wins against Mark Hunt, Jacare, and Manhoef. I think Gegard is a solid fighter, but he’s always inconsistent.

Damn, this troll put some effort and time in this post.

Only by some of his more vocal and delusional fanboys. He's actually a pretty great fighter and a compelling match-up for everyone at the top of the division. I'm bummed he left the UFC (not that I blame him) because I think he'd be Whittaker's biggest test and they would have a really good fight.

It's bad enough that Whittaker was ducked by the two champs before him but one of his biggest threats gave up the opportunity to fight him as well, so people are always going to denigrate him for things out of his control, even though he beat the two most dangerous fighters in the division. That's very bothersome. Ideally, both fighters remain undefeated and meet down the road.

The only middle weights you can say are better than Mousasi right now is Whittaker, Romero and Jacare. 4th best in the world. Not overrated at all.

None of them are better than him, especially not whittaker.

Bullshit. Hes a great fighter. Been fighting from mw to hw. So suggest he's overrated indicates inherent retard.

He's the exact opposite of underated, hater detected.

And its a mother fucking shame that the UFC couldn't pay them their worth. Meanwhile CM Punk gets 500k so we can watch him throw one girly punch.

I have never heard anyone act like he is p4p no 1. He is However a great mw, but has weaknesses like most fighters do.

Gegard could be mw champ, but there Are also guys he could lose to in the top 10.

Yeah Lyoto was on shit, Jacare looked way different less than a year after USADA. Coincidence? But anyways, let's just say he lost to them fair and square. Jacare and Lyoto are very good fighters themselves, both have become champions in one major org or another.

He beat Weidman so bad he tried to quit.

He got caught by Uriah's kick but anyone can lose just by chance. Vitor nearly armbarred Jones, and Gus nearly split decisioned a prime Jones.

So he may not have been #1 at any period of time, but he is top 5 as he has mentioned himself throughout recent years. He's a pretty humble and respectful guy until recently where he started talking shit to get a title shot/fights he wanted.

Plus he offered to step in against Cormier and save UFC 200 and also against Rumble Johnson. If anything, he shows that he has balls like his teacher Fedor, and the legend in BJ Penn.

He is the definition of a real fighter.

USADA Mousasi is the absolute GOAT . I am curious how u haters will change your song after he gets Bellator belt ?
