choir of 100 gay dudes were supposed to sing national anthem at padres game but a recorded female voice drowned them out.
It was an accident with no malicious intent, but people got fired and reprimanded over it.
Still the gays are paranoid and want a full investigation because they think this is anti-gay when it happened ON PRIDE DAY AT THE BALLPARK

I mean, I can understand why they are butthurt in general but this is ridiculous
There were no brawls between players, but a wave of mass outrage was precipitated by an unlikely event: the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus was accidentally drowned out by the sound of a taped recording of a female singing the National Anthem.
The choir, comprised of 100 gay men, was on the field, ready to belt the words to the patriotic song for the Padres' "Pride Day" baseball game, a day set aside to honor and reach out to the LGBT community.
The Padres quickly released a statement explaining that they looked into the matter and found that it was an honest mistake with zero malicious intent. Still, the Padres fired a third-party contractor and reprimanded an employee over the mistake.
"After a thorough examination of the events that occurred during last night’s National Anthem, we have concluded our internal investigation and have found no evidence of malicious intent on the part of any individuals involved," started the statement released by the MLB team. "Based both on the unintentional mistake that was made, as well as the failure to immediately intervene and correct the situation by those who had oversight, we have terminated our relationship with the third-party contractor who was responsible for the error, and taken disciplinary action against our employee who was responsible for the game production on Saturday."
Of course, this was not enough. I mean, people were offended, darn it.
Outrage, anti-gay accusations and a call to launch a full-scale investigation over the mistake were made by the San Diego Gay Men's choir. Forget the fact that this happened on "Pride Day," a day those nasty anti-gay Padres set aside to honor and reach out to the LGBT community.
The executive director of the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus, Bob Lehman, expressed his suspicion over the intent of the musical accident.
"I really want to believe that it was an error," said Lehman. "But the first thought was, did they do this on purpose?"
"John Brown, executive director of the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation, which promotes civil rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, said he wondered if the incident was a prank, rather than an accident, and said it reflects poorly on the team," repots the San Diego Union-Tribune.
"This is a time when the Padres are really looking to build community support," said Brown. "They’ve got to understand that the LGBT community is large in San Diego, it is supported by our community’s leaders, and the majority of people who live here."
Although the Padres have declared this an honest mistake, Brown added, "This kind of thing isn’t acceptable at all."
"The incident gained national and even international traction in media outlets ranging from the New York Daily News and USA Today, to the British publication The Daily Mail. People on both sides of the issue weighed in on Twitter, arguing whether the incident was offensive or the reaction to it overblown. The Chicago Gay Men's Chorus posted a musical video in support of their San Diego counterparts," notes the San Diego Union-Tribune.
conclusion:
"For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you"
