I have come to realize very recently that someone I grew up with now is gay.

I grew up with a few kids from different families, and we are still all friends. Our families are friends as well, and we are pretty tight. Years ago the younger brother of my friend was rumoured to be gay. I never thought it be true until when I was introduced by my friend to his brothers "partner". Bruhhh

Anyways thinking back I remembered him playing with ours sisters dolls and shit, but makes me think if being gay is just as normal as being straight.

Other mammals don't travel to space or build nanotechnology. People need to stop comparing humans to animals. So it was observed in animal behavior that they clean each other asses with their tongues. Should that be encouraged among humans because it was observed in other mammals? So what if it dates back to antiquity? Witch hunting dates back to not even 400 years ago. Should we encourage it too?

edit: Not saying there's something wrong with TS's friend, but "other mammals do it" and "dates back to antiquity" are hardly valid reasons to propagate a behavior lol

TS talked about homosexual behavior being a somewhat normal behavior and I do think a long history plus observing it other species is a good hint that it is a somewhat normal behavior.

Something being normal doesn't make it worth propagation or acceptance, however. Murder is a perfectly normal primate behavior; but I don't think that's worthy of propagation either.
