That was the first Fedor fight I saw and one of the first MMA matches in general I watched.

I was impressed.

Fedor looked like a straight up KILLER in that fight. VERY explosive, so fast for a heavyweight. Watch his movement in that fight and then compare it later on in his career.

watching fights like these with goodridge, knowing what we know now, seems more sad than cool : (

Here's Hunto talking about potential issues that may have limited his performance against emelianenko fedor

The body shots Fedor threw in that fight were GOAT.

surprised gary can remember it tbh.
He said in an interview somewhere that he blacked out after Fedor hit him with a punch then couldn't remember the rest of the fight.
Never seen the fight, ima go check it out.
It was a simply devastating performance by Fedor. Goodridge was obviously never a great, but he had the speed and power to overwhelm people in the early days, and Fedor just came at him like a bull and completely blew him out of the water.

This fight is my all time favorite Fedor performance. Truly masterful.

LOL Glad to see Gary has a sense of humor about it after all these years.

He seems like a great guy.

Fedor whooped his ass though in that one. He came out looking to kill Goodridge, not fight him, lol.

Gary said a while back that Fedor hit the hardest of all his opponents.

I think that Quinton Jackson has mentioned a few times how he loved the attitude of Gary. Win or lose, he would be all jolly in the after party.

Edit: Garys KO of Taktarov was scary. If you have not seen it, you should definitely look it up.
