Garry won that fight...

He didn't, but this is one of the rare occasions where the rightful loser of the fight looked better than the guy who won.

Garry was the only one who tried, and came close to getting a finish. His offensive grappling was legit. If he'd just had more confidence from the start, he could have handily won this fight. He was doing well at range and actually had more moments in the ground that Shavkat did.

Shavkat won more minutes, Ian had the bigger moments in the fight.

Garry proved why he is undefeated, his striking is overrated, lack of killer instinct but he very tough, good grapling and well-rounded. Shavkat couldn't simply walk through him like other opponents, Shavkat needs to improve a lot of things, such as his fight IQ to become a champion, otherwise he will be wrestlf*ck by Belal.

I mean it was pretty easy to score it 3 - 2 shavkat

Gary is a Master of stifling offence but is also unable to force his own spots. He waits for openings and as he fights higher level guys, these openings happen less and less.

It's wild to me the level of fight comprehension people have on here. you'd think to go out of your way to join an MMA forum you'd know what you're watching a little bit. No way did Ian win that fight. What the fuck, TS? It was a shit fight, however.

idk if he won but this fight kind of confirmed my thought that Shavkat is just okay at striking, Garry beat him there imo.

At least Garry got a free oil change out of the deal.

Ian Garry very clearly lost every single round

What a fucking stupid take

Gane also clearly lost every round of his fight. This is becoming a bit of a joke

I agree. First two rounds were a draw. It it's so close one strike makes the difference than it is a draw nobody did even close enough to say they won that round.

1 draw
2 draw
3 Garry
4 shavkat
5 garry

Yeah I was impressed by his performance don't think he won. Good TD defence.
