The problem for Drysdale is it was his second failed test in 6 months.And, to be fair, Drysdale's failed drug test messed his career up a lot. It wasn't like it "never took off", he was suspended and released from the UFC. By the time he came back the hype wasn't there. It's not much different than if he'd gotten knocked out. He's still training and preparing for a big return, apparently, he's probably just waiting for a worthwhile offer.
It's funny to think considering Brian Ortega made his UFC debut three weeks after Drysdale, also won by RNC in round 1, also pissed hot, and received a 9 month suspension from the CSAC (Drysdale got 1 year from NSAC).
