Has there been any Mafioso or prominent gangsters that fought in UFC or high level MMA?

If I remember correctly, Mickey Cohen was a pro boxer and fought for the world title and there were two English mobster bros who also boxed pros.

I agree, most real life gangsters are stiffs in personality. A guy like Jon Gottie was an anomaly in the mob world. Most of them were pretty reserved in their way of interacting with regular people and never showed off.

One of the most famous for sure because he was the first in the time they actually started recording these things and his story is highly romanticized because he was never caught but he isn't even the most prolific serial killer in Englands history ( Dennis Nielsen) and not even close on an international level.
