Gane's gonna utterly light Jones up. It won't be close. Jones = not in prime anymore & ring rust

The only reason John Jones is fighting at heavy weight, because he had lost all leverage with the company. He’s getting one last payday

And he can't get down to 205 anymore despite the chicken legs.
Now he can eat chicken wings.

Due to aging and general wear and tear I think it's impossible for Jones to be his old self. More so if we assume he was on PEDs in the past and is clean now. That said, it'll be interesting to see if Jones can mange not just a win but dominating win.
Not sure we should assume he is clean now.

He has enough money he could even hire someone to design steroids for him with slightly altered chemical profiles that wouldn't show up on usada tests.

I'm pretty sure the Russian Olympic program was dabbling with this decades ago, so I don't even think it is a stretch.

There is a guy who was interviewed on a documentary about steroid who said athletes would hire him to design cycles for them that would beat the tests, and with suffìcient budget he said he could beat any tests.
I think he said his starting rate was $10k, up from there.

Think about all those enormous MFers in the NFL, 6'4+ 240pounds plus and still run faster than HS track athletes.
They are supposedly tested.

Jones will lose and time off and ring rust will be the excuses.

Wait and watch.
He will incorporate it being part of God's plan post fight after he loses just a test

Well me too! But yeah now that i think about it, my mom doesnt have a basement, if Jon somehow wins ill gladly sleep in a car :D

But no way Jon wins this. His took a serious beating his last 3 fights, and like i said that was against Reyes and Smith, both of wich are kinda meme guys now, way past their time... Time waits for no man, weve seen this million times. Also Gane moves exceptionally good for a HW.
I think he wins, but I agree with you that Gane offers a lot more trouble to him than most think. Honestly, I think it's a pretty bad matchup for Jones..out of all the unflexible HW with bad movement, he chose one of the worst.. but, if Ngannou was able to take him down, I think Jon will manage. He must be laser focused though or else he's in for a real rough night.

Maybe... Jon is definitely past prime. He has a ton of milage and he's suffered from ring rust in the past.

That stated even a rusty or past prime Jon has always found a way to win, and the worst version of Jon is often MUCH better than his peers. Also that time off probably gave him time to heal up a lot of little nagging injuries. So we'll see what we get.

If I were a gambling man, Jon Jones is the last person I would ever bet against.
How can he has a ton of mileage if he literally took multiple years of "vacation"? I get what you're saying, but I believe what literally plays in his advantage is that he DOESN'T have a ton of mileage (plus never losing). He is just different..and like you said, def. much better than his peers in his approach to the "game".

It's just funny cause your second paragraph literally refuted the first haha! But I understand your brainstorming somewhat haha

I don't think the second paragraph in any way refutes the first. Jon has like 75 championship rounds and I think 16 "champ camps" of wear and tear on his body. Some of that stuff little nagging stuff will heal up with time off. Some stuff wont. Quite a bit of it is just milage he's going to have to wear.

For an extreme example, Chuck Liddel had 8 years off before that 3rd Tito fight, but it didn't help his chin/brain any.

Jon is just a special athlete. His absolute worst is still much better than most guy's best. Also whatever milage he has, doesn't seem to have effected his fight IQ, his chin, or his heart yet.

Worst of all, he still has massive reach advantage, only not massive as before. His body is crazy.
Yeah its crazy. Wasn't the stat he had the longest reach in the damn company only after Struve?

They are both listed as 215 cm which is insane. Gane has like 203 cm, thats is more than 10 cm difference…

Edit: Gane has 206, still very solid difference.

If Jones doesn't piss hot and ruin the fight Gane smokes him imo. Jones arguably lost his last 2 fights against smaller and less skilled guys who have a combined record of 1-9 in the last 3 years.

But it’s Jon Jones. I hate this mofo. Been rooting against him since 2011. That's what, 12 years? Every single fight bro, not getting the results i've wanted with this guy.

Now i've just let it go. He beat all my fans already. It is what it is. Shit.

Edit: Forget that last part. Ciryl styles on him and I will laugh while rubbing my hands.

Its a difference for sure but it makes the fight way more interesting. Cause Gane can get to the target with his long kicks even though he may not be in punching range.

If corrupt judges gift Jones a decision there's going to be a lot of people who quit watching UFC forever. That would be a very bad move on UFC's part, especially since they already did that in the Reyes fight, and this fight is a lot bigger.

Got some bad and good news for you.

UfC has nothing to do with judging , there was no 'corruption" with Reyes inability to beat the champ.

Good news is, if he wins you can stop watching the UFC, that would be next level hate.

Nostalgic people think Jones is gonna waltz on into the ring and just take Gane down at will and submit or tko him like he used to do to fighters in his prime. This couldn't be further from the truth. Gane is going to be far too fast, agile, and powerful for Jones and will make Jones look foolish.

It's been three years since Jones has fought. He's going to have a ton of ring rust and he's no longer in his prime at all. He's also an ectomorph pretending to be a Heavyweight. Jones is going to get embarrassed.

I feel like I'm one of the few that sees the reality of what's ahead.
Agreed. But their ages are similar. What we should see is that jones is a fraud. Usada exposed him as a very good fighter but not even close to goatness. Usada Jones arguably got beat by Reyes and struggled vs Santos. He needed peds to beat Jones and Gus the first time. Usada Jones will get easily decisioned by Gane imo.

no one in their right mind would bet money against jon jones
lol
a decade of losing money against that man alone haha

u mean the guy who has the best record the one who outstrikes strikers and throws wrestlers like a child
so whos your goat?

I do favor Gane. Jones is older, rusty, and seemed to be declining in his later fights. I could see him being competitive, but he has a lot of things going against him

Nah you'll see it'll be way more competitive than you think don't let your hate for Jones blind you .....

Jon Jones became champ at age 23.

He takes his first legit loss in the year 2023.

The Number 23

I seriously doubt anyone is going to quit watching UFC because of bad decisions lol they would have quit couple years ago. This isn't the thing that breaks camels back.
