Who cares? It was a shitty fight where Gane shattered his big toe and broke two other bones in his foot 35 seconds into the fight, then Volkov put up an all-time stinker of a performance by failing to dominate a one-footed fighter, keeping the fight close enough that he could lose by a rather ordinary judging mistake as opposed to actual robbery. Aside from who gets the win bonus, the UFC treated the result of the fight absolutely appropriately for the fighter performances: like a loss for Volkov and like a no contest for Gane.
