JBJ beat prime version of Shogun, Rampage, Machida, Shad and even TRT Belfort....
come on dude...
Yes, he beat some great fighters, no doubt about it, but they were undersized relative to what the LHW division would become. The bigger guys at LHW just weren't the best or that skilled at that time and that allowed guys like Rashad and Machida to flourish. That all changed, and credit to Jon, as he was the one who changed that. But still, his domination of those fighters had a lot to do with his size and length. The fights were much closer when he fought guys his own size.JBJ beat prime version of Shogun, Rampage, Machida, Shad and even TRT Belfort....

they have displayed similar striking tecnic specially elbows kicks and knees but of course Gane s boxing is mutch betterI dunno, TS. Jones has a great wrestling pedigree that Gane doesn't have. Thankfully for him, Gane fights in a division at a time where there aren't many wrestling-oriented foes for him to face.
Jones has sick ground and pound too, whereas we yet have to see Gane pound someone to a bloody pulp on the ground. On the feet, Jones has very unorthodox strikes that he throws, while Gane is more of a bread and butter type of striker with obvious muay thai roots.
What both men have in common is great athleticism, and tremendous footwork. I don,t see that many similarities between the two tbh.
Yeah Jones appeared to be even nicer than Gane, as impossible as that sounds. Probably because of the soft voice. Kids image was so nice i didn't even dear to accuse him of being fake.
Then i saw it in the buildup to the Rampage fight and here we are.
they still aren t ergo the reason why middle sized guys like glover and jan are crushing themYes, he beat some great fighters, no doubt about it, but they were undersized relative to what the LHW division would become. I pretty sure he was just emphasizing that it was not just plain Belfort and it was TRT Belfort. There was a difference. How come you're labelling Vitor as TRT Belfort but not Jones as Steroid Jones?
