Gane is Bigger than Nganou

Ngannou seems to have dropped a bit of muscle imo.
Seen him in a picture with Verhoeven and he seemed to have lost size but there again Rico is huge so would make most people look smaller.
 
Will be interesting to see Nganou fighting someone as talented as Game with out his normally massive size advantage.

Have you seen the photoshoot session in embedded? He looks like an action man character.

Gane put on around 7 pounds though.

I noticed Ciryl got bigger for this fight definitely gonna weigh in in the high 250 low 260 range.

But N'Gannou is still bigger if you go by weight .
Gane seems to be slighltly taller, but nothing that will give him an advantage.
Francis also has the reach advantage, but more importantly he has massive KO power.

TLDR : they are very close in " size " framewise so nobody should have a decisive advantage from that, but Francis is physically stronger and has way more power

Hate to break it to you but Stipe beating Ngannou was over 4 years ago.

Ngannou KO'ng Stipe was close to a year ago which is likely what he was referring to.

I really doubt Gane is stronger, being bigger boned doesn't mean stronger at all.
You can have average wrist/ankle circumference yet still be very strong because you have high bone/muscle density or many type 2 muscle fibers like Francis ...
( I am very well placed to know as I'm not big boned at all but always outmachted much bigger men in raw strength... I have very high muscle/bone density though and people almost always guess me 20lbs lighter ).

Ciryl himself said he has never met a fighter stronger than Francis in raw strength, and that he obviously won't try to outmuscle him because it would be " stupid " .
He could maneuver him in the clinch though, especially against the cage, since it's a combination of strength, technique and leverage use.
We'll see.

I agree noticed it too, we'll see what he weighs in at, but I would be surprised if he doesn't have to cut this time.
Probably made the conditionning bet, knowing who he is facing.
 
The obvious take is that Gane stays at range and wears Ngannou down OR Ngannou clocks him in the first couple rounds. But what if Gane ends up out-power punching Ngannou? Beats him at his own game? That would shock the world, eh?

Their shoulders are the same height, Gane is holding his head more up so his chin is slightly higher. They are the same height. Gane uses his length very effectively in striking but Francis has that bullrush take your head off thing in reserve at all times.
