Really enjoyed this as a kid. Game play was really fun and there was something about the storytelling that drew me in. I generally don't care about story in any video game.
Maybe the best turn-based strategy game of all time, IMO. The reason I want Lords of Magic remastered is because i couldn't figure that crap out. It has some of the coolest foldouts and other complementary paper material that came with the game. But there was something about the game I just didn't "get". I got slaughtered. Always wanted to go back. I downloaded it because of this thread.
That's a shitload of games. Most of the Sierra and dynamix games.
I think running games outside compatibility mode is one of the points of the thread. Unless I'm mistaken it isn't a Windows 10 game.Heroes 3 have a fan made HD mod, no need to remake them. Heroes 5 are very good as well.
The beauty of Heroes 3 is that they are perfect with their sprite graphics, the design is very good and they are stylish.I think running games outside compatibility mode is one of the points of the thread. Unless I'm mistaken it isn't a Windows 10 game.
That's also just a 2D re-texturing, really. It's not a legit remaster updating to modern systems.
I think someone posted that here. They can even use AI to automatically enhance graphics of old school games.I saw an article the other day suggesting PS5 might have ray tracing and an ability to run older games with better performance (based on some copyright stuff) and the article said just ray tracing can make old games without any reprogramming of the game look much better.
