Really enjoyed this as a kid. Game play was really fun and there was something about the storytelling that drew me in. I generally don't care about story in any video game.

Star Wars KOTOR 2. I can't get it to work on a modern pc

Maybe the best turn-based strategy game of all time, IMO. The reason I want Lords of Magic remastered is because i couldn't figure that crap out. It has some of the coolest foldouts and other complementary paper material that came with the game. But there was something about the game I just didn't "get". I got slaughtered. Always wanted to go back. I downloaded it because of this thread.

You ever play Heroes V? Love it. Not as much as 3, but it was great.
Most of the Sierra and dynamix games.
That's a shitload of games.

I've mentioned my love for the Forgotten Realms games many times. I played the bejeesus out of another cult classic I don't talk about as much. People who watch the movie Big with Tom Hanks, and think, "That's stupid...no videogames were like that." Well, they weren't alive & playing:

Heroes 3 have a fan made HD mod, no need to remake them. Heroes 5 are very good as well.

I think running games outside compatibility mode is one of the points of the thread. Unless I'm mistaken it isn't a Windows 10 game.

That's also just a 2D re-texturing, really. It's not a legit remaster updating to modern systems.

The beauty of Heroes 3 is that they are perfect with their sprite graphics, the design is very good and they are stylish.
To your question about Win10 I honestly don't know because I still run Win8.1 on my PC.

I saw an article the other day suggesting PS5 might have ray tracing and an ability to run older games with better performance (based on some copyright stuff) and the article said just ray tracing can make old games without any reprogramming of the game look much better.

I would like a remake of Black Mesa where they remake Half Life and actually finish it.

I think someone posted that here. They can even use AI to automatically enhance graphics of old school games.

How about old games you wish most modern computers could run like Cysis. <45>

STILL putting the hurt on most “consumer” off the shelf Pc’s

Anybody else play the Dreamfall games? I played the first one, The Longest Journey, for some reason right when it came out as a kid, I think my one of my cousins, she thought I would like it. I actually loved it, and loved Dreamfall after it. I just finally got the finale, Dreamfall Chapters, and it's sucked me back into the world.

Anyone play these, and want to see the first two possibly remade in the third's engine, or maybe all three remastered because fuck the Unity engine?

Myth really is one of the greatest games ever made. Still top 3 for me. Myth 2 was also the most fun I ever had in online games
