In case anyone missed it. Popular streamer Summit1g was asked to sub in for a pro team in the recent Dreamhack Austin lan. After the recent MLG Valve Major he contemplated going pro in CSGO and was hedging recently. After this any desires to turn pro died:

Anyone who gives a shit needs to go outside more often. I love video games, but holy shit, I could not care less about some supposed twitch celebrity. Or being a professional gamer for that matter.

Not going to lie, I don't know what happened there. What did he do wrong? I played Counterstrike religiously from 1999 to 2002, but probably haven't touched it in at least 12 years. Couldn't really tell what was going on.

Clutched a 1v1 to push his team to round 16 winning the map. When running to defuse the bomb he ran through his own molotov killing himself.

Uh huh. Didn't even know there was a Molotov in this game. Must be a CSGO addition.

It was added to force players out of advantageous positions with a high price tag. Was released with the game in 2012. Though it didnt start to be used with regularity till last year in 2015.
