Gamebred Pitbull vs Leopard who wins?

A leopard would tear a pit bull to ribbons in a matter of seconds. It wouldn’t be close.

Cats are stronger, faster, more agile, and have more weapons.

Lol some of you still dont get how powerful an undomesticated wild animal truly are.

These fucking threads.

Pit has zero chance against a cat bigger than itself, period.

Same shit as grizzly vs silverback gorilla...people underestimate one thing a lot..CLAWS.

And a Honey Badger would fuck a pitbull up.. Their skin is so thick and loose that they have survived shotgun blast and hits with machetes... Walked it off..

They also have claws and teeth and are vicious fuckers that are about the same weight as a pitbull..

There is areason why lions dont fuck with them and its mainly because of their skin.. The lions cant get a bite on the fuckers and it risks losing an eye and getting its face ripped up. Trying to bite one of those fuckers is like going face first into a blender...

Honey Badger's have been known to castrate Lions:eek: Their preferred attack is to duck under the Lion's belly and go straight for de nutz.

Also, there's a video of a Honey Badger fighting a snake(I can't remember the exact breed). The snake's venom is powerful enough to kill a human with a single bite. The Badger is bitten about a dozen times, kills the snake and then collapses himself. Twenty minutes later he gets up and staggers away. So enough snake venom to kill a human gives a Honey Badger the equivalent of a bad hangover:)

Leopard all day

I feel really bad for the dog but holy fuck. I'm awe at the efficiency and sheer speed of that attack/insta kill. Dog was RIP only 1 second after it realized it was in BIG DANGER

Leopard wins 10 out of 10

Have you seen a full grown male leopard? they are big as fuck

Pound for pound they are stronger than male lions. Huge mismatch

Predators hunt prey but they typically avoid other predators that fight back despite what you saying here being true in many other instances.

Please address my two videos above. Why does not the grizzly or lion simply go all in and kill the Honey Badger? I am curious to your insights. Surely you know they can. Surely you know the Honey Badger is grossly outmatched. And yet I can show you a video of a Honey Badger walking up on a group of 6 lions and trying to steal their food and walking away after they attack him, because they just want to drive him off.

I think we both agree with everything you say above about how outmatched the badger is if the grizzly or Lion just commits to a life or death battle and yet...????

Mountain Lions kill dogs of all breeds out of peoples backyards all the time -including pits. They don’t stand much of a chance against a big cat if the cat wants them and there’s no one around to help the dog.

Coyotes for that matter kill dogs when they can too -including pits.

I saw footage a while ago of a mountain lion in someone's backyard attack and kill a Dobermann, very quickly. The dog even had those awful cropped ears to make it look mean and tough, but the mountain lion took no notice of them at all, which was surprizing.

I love how popular these threads are, and always a good way to waste time.

But a pit would latch on with its bite, and within 5 seconds, his guts would be spilling out his belly and die shortly after.

Easy win for a leopard.

Out in the open probably not, wouldn't be worth the leopards time. Cornered or with cubs in the area though...
And this is my point.

I think the Leopard is always trying to walk away and while he is the Pitbull is rushing in at full speed to instigate an attack. i think the Leopards first instinct when attacked would not be to turn and fight to the death (and win) but rather to try break free and flee.

I know Mountain Lions and Coyotes are opportunistic hunters of dogs in yards, etc. A gal i was dating had her dog snatched from her mom's yard in Oregon but that dog was a Pekingese.

I would love to see your info on them taking on a Game Pit. And the 'game' part matters. It matters a lot. Predators are great at picking out prey that does not have an aggressive posture while avoiding those who do. Thus why Honey Badger goes right and never backs down in the face of a lion. If it turned its back or looked sheepish it WOULD provoke a deadly attack.

Tribesmen in Africa have learned that too and will drive off giant prides of lions from a kill to take their meat by just walking right at them and being aggressive.

Why do I mention that. Because we know at other time Lions kills humans easily. SO the posture and willingness to fight REALLY does matter.

And again I am not saying the Cougar is not way more deadly and has all the tools to kill an attacking Game Pit in a head to head fight. All I am saying is that the Cougar would not want that fight. It would be almost impossible to get it to take that fight instead of just trying to flee.

Solo predators know that winning the fight but sustaining a serious injury is the same as losing the fight if it impacts your ability to hunt after and that makes them very weary of getting in unnecessary fights.
