Gamebred Pitbull vs Leopard who wins?

A leopard would absolutely shred any pit bull. They drag carcasses up trees, hunt chimps and gorillas, etc. Male leopards are 100-200 pounds, no dog stands a chance against a big cat.

Leopard takes its back bites it's neck and ends the fight easily.

Wow, this is a real struggle. It's amazing how long the Jaguar is willing to stay under water.

Pitts just have bite ability and leopards bite force is 100 psi stronger. Leopards are also more agile, and have the ability to turn the paws at a greater degree with much sharper and stronger claws.

Lets say the pitbull was hungry and the leopard was feeding on hog a that the pitbull wanted to eat but the leopard didnt want to let the hog go cause he is starving too so he decides he will rather take the chance of fighting the pitull in order to not lose his meal ticket for the day, who would win this fight if this scenario came to fruition guys. THoughts?

Remember this is gamebred. Not those pussified pitbulls that hipsters own.
A Leopard has more muscle mass and strength. A Leopard against 2-3 Pit Bull Terriers would be better and a more level playing field. A Leopard likely just retreats if outnumbered.

The Cougar won. A Cougar is quicker with more muscle mass and strength. A GSD by itself is not going to win against a Cougar in the wild. Now if it is 2-3 GSDs against a Cougar then that is a different story.

The Pit lands damage. But the Leopard is bigger, faster, and has more weapon with teeth and claws. Leopard rd 2.

Disagree.

In a fight to the death if you could somehow make the leopard accept that this was life and death with no escape he would win.

But fact is predators value their lives and try to avoid damaging fights at almost all costs because an injury to a predator (especially a solo one) usually means death, even if you win.

Game Pits have no such care for their own life. That fear is bred out of them. The Leopard would be trying to escape or avoid damage at all costs while the PitBull would be attacking without a thought for same.

I am not saying the game Pit survives either as the Leopard may deliver a fatal blow once the Pit locks on and won't let go, but I don't see the Leopard surviving either.

That is why Honey Badgers are so successful. They can take and survive massive damage to deliver damage and the other predators may be better at delivering it but not as good as taking it.
that sounds good and all but there is no pit going to beat a leopard. That game pit that's willing to die will be dead in a minute

The pitbull would be blind and bleeding out from the face/throat in like 3 seconds.

Leopard wins while yawning the entire time

I do believe you have to add something to the pits bite via the strength of its neck and ability to shake.. But still a good post.

Yeah even if the pit manages to secure the lock, its going to get shredded, probably abdominally

If the Pitt can get through the first two rounds, I'd say the conditioning of Pitt will begin to take over. Especially if the Pitt does his camp at Big Bear.

I could also add that leopards Canines are larger and overall teeth are better suited to puncture and tear flesh. Or that their mouth contains more bacteria and cause more long term damage per bite

The Pitbull has no claws, cats are elusive, they kick and fight with their paws, they got sharp claws that can cut deep. All dogs got are bites, Ive seen dog pound workers hold down a dog by the neck and he could;t even get up.

try hold a leopard by the neck he will cut your up with his hind legs and claws and twist his body around you are dead.

The one I saw did that too. The pacing back and forth. I have a short video of it buried on my phone somewhere.

Another cool thing that happened that day was this lion giving me the death stare. That shit is like looking into the eyes of a cold blooded killer. It's an eerie feeling.

What I always found scary is those videos of people turning their back around a big cat but they are protected by the glass or fence if there was no barrier the cat would likely kill them, its like an instinct when you turn your back they attack.

Tigers, Lions, Leopards and all other species of big cats are WILD animals, they will always have their wild instincts and as this video illustrates they will never make good "pets" !!
