Yeah people talk about abush predators a lot, but snakes are the ultimate example. They either take prey via abush or they can get their shit pushed in by their prey.

These aren't pits, but considering both times it took multiple humans with weapons quite a while to finally save the dogs, I would say the pythons probably win.



Pythons are used to fighting things that bite. Pits aren't used to fighting things that wrap and squeeze.
