Television Game of Thrones S08E06 Discussion Thread: Burn them all! (the writing staff) | Our Watch has ended

LOL

do you think they'll use that actor to play Ned Stark in the prequel series?

I don't know, but what I do know is that this time I will wait for my designated show watchers to finish the show and give me green light before I commit to it.

The Bronn thing was just poor fan service. The producers had this thing about wanting popular characters to have a bigger role in the last season. Ridiculous really, Bronn was all about about drinking wine and fucking whores and didn't care for positions like that. That last scene summed up the last 2 seasons, it turned into a comedy.
He threatened to kill Tyrion, then punched Tyrion in the face, then extorted him for money lol And Tyrion makes him Master of Coin?

Not to mention that whole conversation Bronn and Tyrion had about "Well what happens if I just don't pay the money back that someone loans me?" And THIS GUY is now Master of Coin lmao such a joke.

I am than I guess, it literally served no purpose. He was exiled, amounting to it meaning nothing.
It only set the whole plot of the 7th and 8th seasons,a major factor in Dany's insanity, resulting in her death, and further showcasing Jon's reluctance to take on that role when it was there for the taking, had he wanted it,marking him as an enemy for anyone else who had designs on the throne.

I think this last season kind of ruined any desire to watch the prequels/spinoffs.

I simply can not believe HBO let D&D whore out and crash their child into the ground. HBO was game for another 1-2 seasons to give it the ending it deserved, and D&D were like nah fuck that we will wrap it up and move on.

It will be world news, only way to avoid spoilers is to watch when the episodes are released, or live in a cave :)

Dany wasn't insane

I don't her death needed to be drawn out. I think the shot that D&D settled for was very uncharismatic and music score used during the scene was bland which culminated to it being very anticlimactic.

I wanted to see her suffer.

now that Tyrion has confirmed Jaime and Cersei died.... (top left meme)
