It was rushed, HBO wanted to give them 10 Seasons with a Blanque Check, but the two writers, Benieof and Weis turned it down and said they could wrap it up in a few episodes, so they can move on to something else.
They were checked out of Writing for Game of Thrones and it showed, especially when they started out pacing the book.
If they wanted to move on,,they should have left the show in the hands of people that cared. But they wanted to wrap it up quickly so they could move on to Star Wars.
Definitely Makes no Sense

But see you thought those things were important, but that was your fault for watching the show.D&D are absolute fucking garbage at writing. Have they never heard of Chekhov’s Gun? Evidently not. I can’t decide what throws that principle out more: the Golden Company, Jon being a Targaryen, or Greyworm mean mugging Jon for two episodes.
Why would the Lord of Light care about ending bloodlines? He was resurrected to kill Danareys IMO. His destiny was to end the blodlines as you said.
yes, this happened.Did I miss something ? Did that really happen? Walked away from the show a couple of times.
Kings landing looked basically fine at the end
“Should be” lmaoSo jons true heritage meant next to nothing, other than being the reason varys dies.
And bran literally showed nothing that would lead anyone to believe he'd be a good king and he did jack squat the whole series.
The last scene should be jon being crowned and cut to black.
How so? Tony got killed, as was referenced and alluded to many times through out the show. I dont get why people always say it was a terrible endingI don’t watch Game of thrones but I can promise you Sopranos was a worse ending.
What's the problem?“Should be” lmao
