Television Game of Thrones S08E06 Discussion Thread: Burn them all! (the writing staff) | Our Watch has ended

I’ve got some GOT finale depression going on. I think Jon and Dany’s story is so tragic. Jon having to kill his love, family member and queen before being exiled for a second time to the watch. The guy has been through so much and always put others in front of himself. A true public servant and the one true king in the north from this day until his last day.

They didn't love each other. It was a sham.

Bronn remains the SECOND worst character since season 4

Also you guys both know the entire Bronn thing was stupid. Yes, we get that he gave Tyrion his bud the chance to double the offer
but that entire thing was just there to give a popular character some screen time

fack off men

I just realized he was only in 3 scenes this season

Exactly. He came and had Tyrion match the offer, i’d say partially out of friendship, and dipped
Honestly the new council was my favorite part
So he wouldn't have killed Tyrion if he didn't match it? Why is Highgarden Tyrion's to give away?

Why do they owe him Highgarden? A deal made at crossbow point?
Kinda. I mean Tyrion is a pretty standup guy who would like to not A. have Bronn killed B. Bronn kill him C. have a Lannister debt to him (they did owe him a castle and he saved both Tyrion and Jamies ass)

Sure, I don't think Tyrion would have Bronn kill or anything, I was just pointing out that deals made at crossbow point seem like a silly way to divvy out the most powerful realm in the 6 Kingdoms, and that some people might have something to say about that person being an upjumped sellsword. Why would Bronn even think Dany would have given him the Reach?

Bronn being on the new small council made me want to punch myself in the teeth.

Bronn remains the shows worst character post season 4

No

Bronn defies bad writing. Just like The Hound , people wanted to see him no matter what. Dude was a scene stealer. Hell i'd totally watch a Bronn exclusive spineoffs. He was the Saul Goodman of GOT
